Fort St. John approves borrowing $5.5 million to complete sewer project

It included constructing a sanitary sewer around 108 Street and the Alaska Highway to provide capacity to that region of the city, at a total cost of approximately $9.45 million.

By the end of 2012 the project was not yet fully funded, and was temporarily financed through cash designated for other uses.

With the approval of this borrowing, those funds will be replaced for 2013 projects to proceed without having to borrow more.
