Five new records set at Elementary Track and Field Championships

There were five new records for the school district set that day. 11 year old Noah Lang of CM Finch beat his old record in the long jump by 11 centimetres, with a jump of 3.69 metres, while 10 year old Arthur Read of Alwin Holland set a new record of 1.19 metres in the boys high jump. For the girls, Sierra Kemp of Bert Ambrose set a new record of 1.12 metres in the girls 10 high jump, while Lenore Loewen of Baldonnel set the high jump record in the girls 11 with 1.23 metres. 11 year old Michelle Kalkman of École Central set a record in the girls long jump with 3.10 metres on Friday.
