Week 3 of spring league hoops comes to a close

There were three games played in the Junior Division, and Team Black versus Team White got the action started. In the end, it was Team Black coming out on top by a score of 35-27 Taking the player of the game for the Blacks was Celine Quigley, and for Team White, Jessie Copes took the top nod.

Team Teal and Team Red battled down to the wire. When time ran out, it was Team Teal who was in front as they won 30-29. Maria Giesbrecht was the top player for the teal squad, and Azoria Richards was the player of the game for Team Red.

In the final game from the Junior Division, Team Purple defeated Team Yellow. Aiden Craig-Steele was the player of the game for Team Purple, while Mariah Kyllo was the player of the game for Team Yellow.

In Senior Girls play, it was Focus coming out on top of Lube X by a score of 45-35. The Focus player of the game was Carlee Shenton, and for Lube X, Catherine Ross was recognized as the team’s best player.

Northern Valve squared off against D. Bauer, and it was Northern Valve coming out on top when the clock hit zero, 34-28. Jacqueline Trim was the top player for Northern Valve, while for D. Bauer Marissa Hansen was recognized for her efforts for D. Bauer.

Turning to the Senior Boys, Northern Valve battled Sunlife. Northern Valve took the win, with Logan Harder getting the player of the game award. Seth Gladyz took the nod for Sunlife.

In the final game of the week, D. Bauer and Lube X had a back and forth game that saw D. Bauer come out on top 45-42. Blake Giesbrecht was the top player for D. Bauer, and for Lube X Exra Lainsburg was the top player for Lube X.
