She began her round on the front nine today, and things started off well as Dreher moved to one under early on after she nailed a birdie putt on the third hole. She ended up falling back to even after a bogey on the par four sixth, before moving back to one under with a birdie on the ninth hole.
The back nine were particularly interesting for Dreher. She dropped back to even on her round with a bogey on the tenth hole, and overall bogeyed three of her first six holes on the back nine.
All wasn’t lost as her round came to its conclusion, however. Dreher managed to fight back with birdie putts on holes 14 and 17 to leave herself at even par by the time she finished her day.
Kelowna B.C.’s Samantha Richdale is still the clubhouse leader for the second round. She is through 14 holes and sits at one over for her day, but has a score of six under for the tournament after yesterday’s stellar round, and leads the tournament by four strokes.
