Heavy rainfall warning issued for the B.C. Peace and Fort Nelson

According to the warning, the rain will start in Northeast B.C. later today and continue into Tuesday.  In the Peace we will still reach a high of 16 degrees today before the rain starts tonight.  Tuesday the temperature will only rise to plus 8.

B.C. North Peace River issued

Total rainfall amounts up to 30 mm expected tonight through Tuesday.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

An approaching Pacific frontal system combined with an Arctic front from north will bring rain to the Northeast British Columbia starting late today. Rain heavy at times over British Columbia Peace River is expected to start overnight and persist to Tuesday. Total rainfall amounts of 30 mm can be expected by early Tuesday evening before the rain tapers off to a few showers.

Total rainfall amounts up to 40 mm expected tonight and Tuesday over the southern sections.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

An approaching Pacific frontal system combined with an Arctic front from the north will bring rain to the Northeast British Columbia starting late today. Rain heavy at times over Fort Nelson is expected to start this evening and persist into Tuesday. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm over the southern sections of the region can be expected by early Tuesday evening before the rain tapers off to a few showers.
