At the same time, the price for natural gas is expected to increase from last summer’s low gas prices, thanks to average storage inventories at the start of the season in April and slower growth in production. It’s forecast that the average price will be between $3.25 and $3.75 per gigajoule at the Intra-Alberta hub and between $4.00 and $4.50 U.S. per million BTUs at Henry Hub in the States.
