He is in Quesnel today at its annual AGM and convention, along with Mayor Lori Ackerman and Councillor Larry Evans.
Each year representatives from communities in the NCLGA meet to pass resolutions that the organization will petition the Union of B.C. Municipalities and the Province to enact. Some of the proposed resolutions this year include lobbying the provincial government to further support the development of a reliable air ambulance service, and urging the provincial and federal governments to work with community partners to develop solutions to the lack of seniors’ housing.
Next year’s AGM will be held in Fort St. John.
