Tang made quick work of his competition during yesterday’s event. He completed his race in a time of 32:08, which was significantly better than any time registered so far in the series.
Bob Andrews, the series leader with 14 points with two races to go, finished in the second spot. He crossed the line in 36:28.
The first female to finish yesterday’s race was Sandy McDonald as she finished her race in 37:24. The win was good enough to give her five points, but she trails Barb Polehoykie, Heather McCracken, and Celeste Pakstas who have 11, 10 and 9 points respectively.
The fourth race of the duathlon series will be from BaldonnelSchool once again on May 20. The race is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
