The team played strong in the first game, taking a 3-0 lead after the first inning and built on their lead from there. The Black Sox also had 14 players come out for the game on the road which is higher than normal, so everyone got their chances to contribute with the lead well in hand.

The Black Sox have a busy few days ahead of them. The team will have their first home game tomorrow night as they swing the sticks against the Rycroft Rage at 7 p.m., and Saturday sees the team take part in another double dip as they welcome the Peace River Stampeders for games at 1 and 4 p.m.
