Neufeld maintains that he and others who have abused the system should leave.
“I think the public actually demands that Senators should be honourable and do the right thing,” he argues. “That’s where I’m coming from. Do the right thing.”
The former Peace River North MLA adds he would support toughening the rules around senate expenses.
