The forum follows ones in FortSt. John and Fort Nelson earlier in the campaign. The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Community Hall.

Today also marks the first day of advanced voting. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday in advance of the May 14 election. 

In Peace River North you can vote from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations. :

  • Northern Rockies Recreation Centre, 5500 Alaska Highway, Fort Nelson
  • Pearkes Centre, 10801Dudley Drive, Hudson’s Hope
  • Pomeroy Sport Centre, 9324 96 Street, Fort St. John
  • Taylor Community Hall, 9896 West Cherry Avenue, Taylor

In order to vote you must prove your identity and residential address.  You can use a single document issued by the Government of B.C. or Canada that shows voter’s name, photograph and residential address. You can also use a certificate of Indian status issued by the Government of Canada or two documents that together show the voter’s name and residential address. Both documents must show the voter’s name. At least one of the documents must also contain the voter’s residential address.
