Unemployment rate increases in B.C. Peace

In March of 2012 39,700 people were employed.

The region still has the lowest unemployment rate in the province, with North Coast/Nechako taking the top spot with a rate of 8.2 per cent.

Across the province, the unemployment rate increased to 7 per cent, while the national rate remained also increased to 7.2 per cent.
