Suspicious luggage at Dawson Creek Airport was marijuana grinder

In its search, the RCMP Police Dog Service found no indications of any explosive materials in any areas of the airport or baggage.

The owner of the bag and its contents was a 17 year old female, who, after police questioning, was allowed to continue on her travels with her mother.

The airport was evacuated during the investigation and was closed for 30 minutes, resuming operations at 4:12 p.m.
