Snowfall tonight could bring Fort St. John to double the norm

That leaves the unofficial month-to-date total through yesterday at 17.9, but the snowfall total is up to 18.3, with two to four more centimetres forecast for tonight. If the top end of that estimate is the amount actually received, it would result in a monthly snowfall total that’s more than double the April norm of 10.6 centimetres.

Elsewhere the weather alert is still in place for the Fort Nelson region.
