Regional Science Fair around the corner

Awards will be handed out starting at 4:30 p.m, and the general public is invited to view the science projects from 3 to 5 p.m.

In addition to the three separate judgings for each project, there are also several activities scheduled for the day, including a paper plane obstacle course and a contest to identify what’s under a microscope. This year there is also a science challenge to build a boat that floats using only recyclable materials (and some duct tape).

The top winners from this year’s science fair will go on to present at the Canada-Wide Science Fair, and have the opportunity to travel abroad to international fairs.
