Record turnout for 2013 Trade Show

The turn out was nearly 10 per cent more than the 14,000 last year.

Not only is the record good news for the trade show, but it also reflects well on Christina Hogarth, who took over as organizer for the first time, taking the reigns from Gene Daniel, who ran it for its first 40 years.

“As this was my first time running the show I knew I had big shoes to fill as Gene did such a great job with the show for so many years, but I couldn’t be happier and more excited with the results,” she says. “Four years ago when we moved into this venue and were able to fit all three previous arenas’ floor plans into it we wondered how we’d ever fill all that extra space. But here we are just 4 years later and we’re rapidly approaching capacity – it’s a great spot to be in!”
