Prohibited firearm destined for Dawson Creek intercepted by Border Services

With the help of Canada Post, which was ordered by a judge, Dawson Creek RCMP made two arrests, one of which was classified as “high risk”. Police then searched three separate locations, and found a home made silencer and other guns and ammunition at one of those locations.

The two males have since been released on bail and will appear in court on April 30. There are still several other firearms charges under investigation. Their names have not been released at this time.
