Peace Region students earn silver and bronze medals at provincial skills competition

Northern Lights College student Jacob Elliott won a silver medal for electrical wiring, while the team of Korynn Oberle and Zak Schwartz from Dawson Creek Secondary South Peace Campus took home bronze medals in 2D computer animation. They beat out secondary and post secondary students from across the province to earn their prizes.

The gold medal winners in each category, which range from baking to public speaking, will compete Canadian Skills Competition held in Vancouver at B.C. Place Stadium from June 5 to 8.
