Former Dawson Creek resident missing from UBC Hospital

Brodeur is on medication for schizophrenia, and although staff say she was stable when they last saw her, they are “extremely concerned” for her health and safety as she has not taken her medication since she went missing.

Efforts by police and hospital staff to locate her have been unsuccessful and the University RCMP Detachment is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brodeur, who lived in Dawson Creek before moving to Detwiller Pavillion, and is originally from Quebec. She has no known friends or family in B.C. and has travelled to Alberta in the past.

Brodeur is described as 5’4″, 148 pounds, with brown and grey shoulder length hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a dark blue jacket with grey patches on its sleeves, black jogging pants, and grey jogging shoes.

Anyone who may have seen her is asked to call 9-1-1.
