Conservatives announce candidate for Peace River North

Sigurdson has worked in the oil patch since he was 15 and has been an oil field operator for almost 20 years. Presently he works at the Spectra Energy McMahon plant where he has been for the past 15 years. He has worked as a pipe liner, worked on drilling rigs and been a swamper on trucks.

Earlier this month the Regional Director for Peace River, stated they would not be entering a North Peace candidate this election, after its potential candidate withdrew from the race last minute.

Sigurdson joins incumbent Liberal Pat Pimm, Independent Arthur Hadland and the NDP’s Judy Fox-McGuire
