Cases of substandard care by former lead oncologist at B.C. Cancer Agency Centre for the North

The Cancer Agency has now released a report saying about 10 per cent of the patients Katakkar treated got non-standard or unacceptable care, some of it resulting in serious consequences for the patients.

The report says the B.C. Cancer Agency will be implementing nine recommendations as a result of the review, including improving the orientation process for newly-hired physicians.
