The team’s five game, undefeated stretch began with a 3-1 victory over the team representing the Kootenays, followed by a 3-1 win over Vancouver Island.
Day two produced a rematch between Team North and Vancouver Island, which ended with the same 3-1 score.
Entering the semi-finals, team North squared off against Lower Mainland Blue, where a shootout was needed to break the 1-1 deadlock. Extra shooters were needed to settle the score, so Bell skated out to centre ice, and with the game depending on her stick, she scored to send her team to the finals.
The finals saw Team North take on Lower Mainland Green, where Bell and her teammates jumped out to a quick two goal lead, which proved to be enough to emerge as champions, 2-1.
