B.C. Conservatives promise Northern infrastructure grants

“Northern British Columbia is fundamental to our province’s economic prosperity and the continued improvement in quality of life, for all British Columbians,” said Cummins. “Not only do Northern municipalities need an opportunity to catch up on their infrastructure deficit, they need sustainable funding sources to enable long-term planning.”

He also announced that the Tories plan to make the Federal gas tax more flexible.

The rest of the Northern Strategy will be rolled out over the next few weeks.
