Along with the Inconnu Swim Club, the other participating clubs at the event were the Grande Prairie Piranhas, Peace River Wahoos Swim Club, Hay River Lions Swim Club and the Grande Cache Otters.
By the time all of the events were completed, the Inconnu Swim Club had built a healthy lead over its next closest competitor. The Inconnu finished with a total of 5,898.5 points, while second place went to the Grande Prairie Piranhas with a score of 2,063 points.
Among the individual events, in the girls 800 metre freestyle, Jordan Eyles finished with a time of 11:15:26, and second was Brittany Welsh. She completed her race in 11:41:88.
In the girls 200 metre breast stroke, Nadia St. John finished first as she registered a time of 4:32:02. The second spot went to Sarah Webster as she clocked in at 4:32:14
In the boys 1500 metre freestyle, Tate Haugan took the top spot. He registered a time of 20:08:91, while Mackenzie Ternier-Smith finished with a 25:05:01.
The boys 200 metre breast stroke saw Logan Schar clock in a time of 3:48:36 for first place, and Griffin Ternier-Smith took the second spot with a time of 4:08:10
The Inconnu swimmers will be in the pool again next weekend for a meet in Grande Prairie.
