Winter weather returns to Peace Region

In addition, the north wind is expected to be a factor today with wind chill temperatures in the minus 30 to minus 35 range.

The weather bureau is also predicting conditions will be even worse in the South Peace, where snowfall warnings are still in place. Up to 20 centimetres are expected on this side of the border by tomorrow morning and on the Alberta side by tomorrow afternoon.
With little forecast relief now in sight through the weekend, the message for motorists should be clear: slow down and be prepared for significant deterioration in road conditions.
