Police make three simultaneous drug busts

The search warrants were all executed at 8 p.m. on March 14, when three males and two females in the residences were arrested. One male and two females were released without charges.

The other two men were released and will appear in court in May. Police are recommending charges of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon against a 34 year old male and Possession of a Controlled Substance and Firearms Offences against a 32 year old male. Both are from the Fort St. John area.
Last week’s busts are reminiscent of last October, when search warrants were executed simultaneously at five locations in Fort St. John and rural Charlie Lake, and a sixth in the Buick Creek area the next day.
