In the proposed budget, no net increase has been made to taxes collected from major industry, and the residential mill rate has been increased slightly, along with water and sewer fees. Some of the proposed capital projects include a $274,000 waterline upsize project, and $95,000 for a new floor for the community hall, based on a 50/50 grant. $60,000 to expand the cemetery and columbarium and $157,000 for new and replacement vehicles and lawn mowers.

The budget is set to be finalized on February 5th after consideration of the public's suggestions.
