Local student excels at Taiwan International Science Fair

She found that short periods of aerobic exercise improved performance in both subjects.

The grade 10 North Peace Secondary School student was one of two B.C. students selected to represent Canada at the science fair, and the other, Keltie Murdoch, in grade 12 at Mount Baker Secondary in Cranbrook, placed fourth in her category as well. While in Taiwan, the two stayed with a host family, and took part in cultural activities. 
"The week was absolutely awesome, it was a tremendous experience! Having the chance to interact with students from 21 countries was amazing, everybody was wonderful!" they agree.
The 2013 Northern B.C. Regional Science Fair will take place on April 9, 2013.
