B.C. Transit testing extended route in Dawson Creek

This will be on a trial basis, and how well this test goes will determine whether the expanded route will be kept. If there are no operational issues or problems with schedules or timing, a second, longer trial will take place from September 2, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
The data from the two tests will then be presented to Dawson Creek City Council, and feedback will be gathered from drivers and riders. Funding for Dawson Creek's transit system is cost shared between the City of Dawson Creek and B.C. Transit, and route and fare decisions are made by City Council.
If successful, the route would be changed permanently from September to June annually. In July and August the route already extends to Rotary Lake.
