Texaco bridge replacement to start in April

The shoulders will also be widened to accommodate the bigger, two-lane bridge, with 80 metres on each side. The current bridge is 7.3 metres wide, which will be expanded to 10.2 metres.

The $3 million project is intended to improve safety and increase capacity for heavier traffic.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April, with completion in September. A temporary detour bridge will be in place.
