More funding for employee skills training in northeast B.C.

What courses are required would be decided with the assistance of a training coordinator.

In order to qualify for the program, an employer must have less than 100 employees, and employees receiving training must not have a high school diploma, or not have a recognized certification.
The program launched in 2011, and the funding can be used for a variety of courses, including Early Childhood Education, Emergency Medical Responder, and Bookkeeping.
