Local businesses can now start the switch back to PST

Forms can also be printed off for registration by mail, or they can be requested over the phone. A new PST number will be issued once the application process is completed.

The provincial sales tax will officially be reinstated on April 1, 2013, after the harmonized sales tax was defeated in a referendum.
Any businesses having difficulty returning to the old way of doing things can book a one-on-one consultation with a tax specialist, and there will be online conferences and seminars.
