Horse dies after trailer flips on Alaska Highway

The number of horses inside at the time is unknown, but witnesses report seeing five. The rest of the horses were fine, and their owner walked them away to a nearby ranch. The flipped trailer was uprighted by a tractor, which also carried away the deceased horse.

At this time the cause of the incident is unknown, but witnesses say the driver appeared to be driving fine.  He was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and sustained no injuries in the crash.
