Dawson Creek couple seriously injured in Mexico motorcycle accident

They have since been transported from a Mexican hospital back to Canada for further treatment, and Burr's coworker at Browns Socialhouse Alyssa Keith says she hopes they will be back in Dawson Creek soon. The two have a long road to recovery ahead of them, and as both of them suffered from broken femurs, it may be awhile before either of them are able to work again.

"Neither of them are going to be able to work for who knows how long," says Keith. "They're coming back to rent, bills, they're going to need food. They have a really long road ahead of them."

Keith and her coworkers at Browns have organized a fundraiser to help cover some of the extensive costs that will be incurred by their accident. On January 18, every employee at the restaurant will be donating their gratuities to the couple.

"So if anybody wanted to donate anything, they could always come in and leave it as a tip for us," Keith explains. "All the day girls, all the night girls, the bar, the kitchen, the host, everybody that day is going to be donating everything that they get to Bobbi and Tyler."

A donation box will also be stationed at Browns throughout January.
