"Celtino" group kicking off North Peace Cultural Centre's 20th year

Compadres is made up of Chilean guitarist Oscar Lopez, and east coast Celtic musician James Keelaghan. The two dub their genre as “Celtino”, a hybrid of Keelaghan's Celtic influence and Lopez' Latin roots.

Compadres was formed in the late 90's, but took a break due to contract and health issues. They're back together, with a new album, and a stage show that promises to “dazzle your senses and entertain your socks off”.
Tickets for the show are available at www.npcc.bc.ca, 250-785-1992 or in person at the box office.
