The event at the Legion includes dinner and a dance, along with Scottish entertainment, and of course, a serving of haggis, a traditional Scottish dish made up of a sheep’s heart, liver and lungs, along with onion, oatmeal, spices and salt all cooked in its stomach.
The Legion has been celebrating Burns and his work along with co-hosts  the Masons and Knights of Columbus for 46 years this year.
Tickets for the celebration are available at Patch Java, Epscan, Scott Wisdahl at MNP, Cliffside Printing, Needful Things, or with Dan Davies and cost $50. Last year’s event sold out.
