The weekend series will be the second two-game weekend between the two Senior Men’s hockey clubs this season, as Fort St. John first played two games in Bentley back on November 10 and 11, when they suffered consecutive losses to the Generals, 8-4 and 4-3 respectively.
Game one takes place Saturday evening, beginning at 8:00 p.m., followed by a Sunday afternoon tilt at 1:30 p.m., both at the North Peace Arena.
Tickets are for sale at the gate or in advance at Ernie’s Sports Experts, and cost $12 each, or can be bought in a weekend bundle for $20.
It’s an important weekend on the ice for the Flyers, as they will get a taste of the high calibre hockey they can expect at this year’s upcoming Savage Cup, being played right here in Fort St. John at the end of March against the Powell River Regals.
