So far, almost $345,000 in tickets have been sold, which means there's just over $150,000 until this year's goal of $500,000 is met. Proceeds from the campaign help provide funds to a variety of Fort St. John’s non-profit organizations. Last year, the Rotary Club donated to local organizations such as FSJ Minor Hockey, Irish Dance and the North Peace Historical Society, just to name a few.
The final draw will take place on December 26, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. in the Totem Mall. Tickets are still for sale from any Rotarian, as well as at the booth in the mall.
There are over $200,000 in prizes to be won, including a first place choice of a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, a 2012 Ford F150 Truck, a 2012 Honda Pilot SUV or $40,000 Cash and a second place choice of a 2012 Honda Civic, 2013 Ford Mustang, a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado or $25,000 Cash. Some of the other prizes include a Honda Big Red, a Polaris Razer, $5000 to Uniglobe Guardian Travel and $3000 to DGS Paving.
