While Fort St. John is coming off a season opening win, the same can’t be said for Hythe, who lost their first game in overtime to those very same Grande Prairie Athletics.

The Flyers enter tonight’s game with an all-time record of 11-5 against the Mustangs, but are on a bit of a losing streak when playing in their barn. The Flyers enter this evening’s game having lost their previous two games in Hythe, but boast an overall road record of 5-3.

Like Fort St. John, Hythe enters the match-up having only played one game so far this season.

The Flyers have scored five goals this season, while only allowing one, compared to the Mustangs, who only scored twice in their season debut, while allowing 3 goals.

Following Thursday’s game, the Senior Flyers will make their Fort St. John debut Friday, November 2, when they welcome long-time rival, the Dawson Creek Canucks.

Friday’s home game will begin at 8:30 p.m.
