His sister says she spoke to him that day, but he wasn’t acting like himself. She says it’s unusual for him to not keep in contact or post on Facebook, as he usually did every day and hasn’t since his disappearance.
Day’s belongings have been left at the Salvation Army and his sister’s house, including his medication and winter clothing. His family is extremely worried for his health, as he is only outfitted in a spring jacket, work boots and jeans. As he had a plane ticket booked to leave town in November, it doesn’t make sense to his family that he would have left earlier.
Day is described as 5’8″ tall, 145 pounds with a slim build. He has wavy brown hair that reaches just past his ears, brown eyes, and wears dark rimmed glasses.
Anyone who sees Day or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP at 250-787-8100. If Jimmy sees this, he is urged to contact his sister immediately.
