According to RCMP, the first ring appears to be a women’s wedding band set, with gemstones in the settings. This ring was discovered near 108 Avenue.
The second ring is described as a men’s gold ring, which has a small stone in the band and an inscription in or on the ring. This piece of jewellery was found in the parking lot of the Dawson Creek Co-op.
RCMP are attempting to reunite the rings with their rightful fingers, and ask anyone missing a ring that matches either of these descriptions to call and provide a file number, 2012-3265 for the female ring and 2012-2548 for the male ring, along with the inscription on the men’s ring, and the number of stones on each in order to ensure no false claims are made.
Pictures of the ring can also be provided to prove ownership.
Any questions or claims can be directed to the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
