The semi-formal evening will include a live musical performance from the Energetic City’s very own Twin Peaks, as well as a showcase of the success from the past year.

Event coordinator Rochelle Thomas, says the fundraiser will also showcase the work that NEAT conducts within the community.

“We’re going to run a slide show called “Short & Sweet, Meet NEAT”. It’ll be just a few minutes and will play back all the programs and events we were at and everything that we’ve done, just to give the crowd a feel for who we are and what we do.”

Also, adding to the fun will be a slew of silent auctions with prizes designed to showcase the Peace Region. Some of the prizes available to be won include helicopter tours, a Wilton cake decoration class, Stuart McLean tickets, photo shoots, and local art and jewellery, just to name a few.

The event will also feature a variety of appetizers courtesy of Patch Java.

Those in attendance must be 18 years of age or older, and the event is only selling 200 tickets, running at $35 each. A free beverage will be included with the price of the ticket.

Funds raised through the event will contribute to NEAT’s environmental programming.

If interested in purchasing tickets or for more informaiton, visit NEAT’s official website or call 250-785-6328.
