The lock boxes contained controlled drugs used by the clinic, including ketamine, valium, hydromorphone and other powerful drugs used for the treatment of animals. RCMP say the use of these drugs by humans can cause severe harm or death, and are not meant to be taken without a prescription from an authorized physician.
 
They urge the public not to buy any drugs or medications from anyone other than prescribed by their physician.
 
At this time, no suspects in the break and enter have been identified. If you have any information about this crime, contact the Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788-9221.
