The EIS guidelines specify what studies and information is needed to describe the project’s environmental, economic, social, health and heritage effects, and what measures should be taken to mitigate those effects.

They also provide a detailed analysis of the potential environmental, economic, social, health and heritage impact of the third dam on the Peace River, and its 1,100 megawatt hydroelectric generating station.
