Stage 4 measures mean residents “must not” water their lawns, gardens, planters or other shrubs, trees or turf. Permits to water newly seeded or turfed areas will not be issued during this time, and any previously issued are no longer valid.

Residents are also prohibited from filling or re-filling ponds, swimming pools, fountains or hot tubs, or washing sidewalks or driveways. Hauling bulk water for non potable use is also not allowed during this time. Residents can wash their boats, RVs and motor vehicles only if it is necessary to operate the vehicle properly and clean the licence plate.

These measures will remain in effect until water levels rise. Stage 3 water conservation measures were implemented back in July.
