Team Canada’s Patrick Anderson led the charge in the win, scoring a game high 32 points, and chipping in with 13 rebounds.

16 of Anderson’s points game in the first quarter alone, as part of an impressive 29 point half.

Peace Region born Bo Hedges also made an impact in the win, as the point guard chipped in with 12 of Team Canada’s points.

Next on the competitive docket will be Canada vs. Great Britain, a match that Hedges says he is very much looking forward to, due to the high intensity environment playing a host team provides. Canada, Great Britain will take to the hardwood Friday, August 31 at 1:15 p.m. (Fort St. John time).

The Canadian men are defending silver medalists from the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.
