It’s been a busy, yet successful week for the local cycling club, as last Sunday, member Colter Young took first place in the final Superweek Alberta Criterium, raced in Calgary.

Irving Tang also represented the Blizzard Bike Club well over the long weekend, placing first overall at the Victoria Duathlon.

Tang’s first place finish came with a time of 2:08:03, after completing a 5 km run, 40 km bike ride and a final 10 km run.

It’s back to the regular routine for the local cycling club, who will race in another Thursday evening Baldonnel time trial tonight, then will hit the trails for a Sunday evening road race at Cecil Lake gravel pit this Sunday.
