Dreher’s one-under score of 70 puts her in a tie for 50 entering the second day of competition.

Her first round on the Sylvania, Ohio golf course included three birdies, two of which were shot consecutively through holes seven and eight, while also shooting two bogies and 13 pars.

She hit 7 of 14 fairways, drove the ball an average of 247.5 yards, hit 14 of 18 greens in regulation, while putting 31 times and managed to avoid the bunkers through all 18 holes.

Finishing atop the leader board on day one was Sweden’s Pernilla Lindberg, who finished her opening round with a seven-under, 64.  

Day two for Dreher resumes Friday, August 10.
