This holiday season, all of our Supporters are entered to win an $800 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

A Fort St. John traffic analyst was also in attendance to provide further insight into the incident and the cause of the collision, which occurred shortly before noon, is still under investigation.

The adult driver, and sole occupant of the car, was fatally injured as a result of the collision, while two adults in the pickup truck were seriously injured.

One of the two adults was flown to Edmonton for further medical attention, while the other remains in a regional hospital.

The pickup truck also contained two children, who, luckily, were both uninjured.

Unfortunately, the same can not be said about the family’s dog, who died as a result of the collision.

As of now, the names of those involved are being withheld until the next of kin are notified.

The incident is still being investigated by South Peace Traffic Services and the B.C. Coroners Service.
