They covered just over 51 hundred hectares putting the average selling price per hectare at $759. Yesterday’s sale also put the year-to-date bonus bid total at $87.7 million, but the last four months have generated less than ten per cent of it.
The 2012 sales have now averaged $12.5 million, and at that pace the calendar year total would be $150 million. That would make it, the lowest total since the 96.3 million recorded in 1998.
The next sale is set for August 15, 2012.
